Green Engineering - Dancepants - Kinetic Music Player

There has been many innovations in fitness wares in our recent days, but few are as worthy as this. The company Dancepants has released a Kinetic Music Player integrated to a pair of exercise pants. The energy makers generates power only when the wearer is in motion. In other words, kinetic energy is used to power the MP3 Music player, so as long as you keep moving, the runes will keep going.

designer's own words::
it is a 100% interactive way to feel the value of energy on your own . During the movement of feet, kinetic energy is collected to play music. The inverse dynamism of "Dancepants" motivates you to move your feet in order to hear your beloved music. And as long as you keep running or dancing you can be sure you won’t run out of battery.

As time has progressed we have made things smaller and handy. Who knew that working out, fashion, and technology will integrate has a triple integration than a double combination. Soon we will be multi-tasking via electronics without even having to do the work with our hands. One day...

New Droid rips on Apple iPhone - Verizon Mobile

Verizon has officially revealed the Motorola AnDroid smartphone. Verizon has announced both the release date and price of the phone. The new Android phone by Verizon will be arriving officially on November 11, 2009 and will cost $199. $199 with a new 2-year contract and $100 mail-in rebate. Obviously, the phone without contract is most likely going to be $399.99.

What are the feature and what does it do? According to Motorola's the AnDroid does ad campaign, which clearly rips into the iPhone, the Verizon Motorola Android smartphone offers high-speed processing, speech recognition functions, multitasking capability, directions via Google Maps, video recording and playback, and a 5 mega-pixel camera which is 3 mega-pixel out ranking the iPhone. It will be operating on Android 2.0 OS.

Google has raised the bar!

The Android device is running a TI OMAP3430 processor, which translate into one of the leading faster smartphones. Wide and visible capacitive display screen, its HUGE, amazing screen overall. Google has been directly involved in the develop of the Android, which shows a lot of support and effort Google has made to making this one of the most versatile smartphones avaliable. Tons of accessories included and also marketed.

2012: The End or Is it Another Y2K Scare?

I remember the Y2K, when everyone was freaking out to be in elevators or planes or even the subway. Then when 2000 came along, it just came and went without much damage or any at all. All the media exposure and tall tails and movies with special effects. Movies like 2012 are going to predict the end of the world as we know. But I do know Dec. 21, 2012 is another winter solstice.

Scientist has studied this time from all the worlds large con traverse and common beliefs out there. There are lots of open source research out there that aren't being read and are being mislead to other sites that are telling false information for exposure. Even NASA Scientist has try to unravel the 2012 timeline mystery. And I have found some answers and would like to share it to everyone.

Some are the unique questions are were asked of the NASA Scientist that I thought was interesting and are major tall tails that are being spread around the world and even in your own neighborhood.

The Mayan calendar myth - Mayan calender ending on Dec. 31 2012.

NASA Scientists: "Just as the calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease to exist after December 31, the Mayan calendar does not cease to exist on December 21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count period but then -- just as your calendar begins again on January 1 -- another long-count period begins for the Mayan calendar."

Giant Solar Storms hitting on 2012

NASA Scientists: "Solar activity has a regular cycle, with peaks approximately every 11 years. Near these activity peaks, solar flares can cause some interruption of satellite communications, although engineers are learning how to build electronics that are protected against most solar storms. But there is no special risk associated with 2012. The next solar maximum will occur in the 2012-2014 time frame and is predicted to be an average solar cycle, no different than previous cycles throughout history."

How do NASA Scientist feel about peoples' claims and hoax for the 2012: The End of the World?

NASA Scientists: "For any claims of disaster or dramatic changes in 2012, where is the science? Where is the evidence? There is none, and for all the fictional assertions, whether they are made in books, movies, documentaries or over the Internet, we cannot change that simple fact. There is no credible evidence for any of the assertions made in support of unusual events taking place in December 2012."

Forever Changing Gaming World - Limited edition 'Modern Warfare 2' Xbox 360

The forever changing of the gaming world has finally arrived. The game has finally been released, Modern Warfare 2. The awesome thing is that they are having a Limited edition Xbox 360 with this release. My older brother has purchased one of these bad boys to replace the Elite Xbox 360 he received as a gift about one and half years ago. My brother is GoTTi415 on Xbox live. If I am wrong I will update his tag. My older brother is very good in playing first person shooters.

The advance changes that Call of Duty has went from 1 to 4.5 has been great! The technology and interacts they have integrated with the new Modern Warfare 2 has been exciting for me. I don't want to be a spoiler at all for this game. It is just a must purchase game.

There is also another type of special package release for Modern Warfare 2. The night vision goggles. The night vision goggles has a 25 feet capability for clear sight. I know what people are thinking, What do you need night vision goggles for?. Well remember the flash bang that use to distort the screen and shoot a white light directly towards your eyes. Its back and with more virtual feeling, especially when the goggles are on.

Xbox 360 Wireless N adapter - $100 a decline in expectations

The roaring of XBOX fans and enthusiast can finally come to a slow halt. The XBOX 360 Wireless N adapter is finally coming out. With the new WiFi N technology being on the market and projecting positive result, the Wireless N is doing so well. Mircosoft-The XBOX group has finally decided to tap into the market and has added new accessory to the XBOX 360 system.

My thoughts aren't very positive for XBOX direction in technology cost. Re-marketing same concepts for the same cost it was last year, horrible. The 802.11b/g wireless network adapter was priced at $100.00 very similar to the new wireless N adapter. I understand we are still within the intervals of bad economic times, but $100, no change!? To put it simple, an improvement means new technology with quick depreciating cost rate therefore new cost marketed at high cost and wait to drop. But its just an improvement wrapped in a shell. Oh well...

But lucky they are lowering the cost of the previous model 802.11b/g model. JoyStiq is the manufacturing company that has decided to price it at $80.00 which is a WHOPPING $20.00 discount. Thanks JoyStiq. But.. you know there is always a but... They are planning to throw the old model to the curb which explains that discount. The later you wait to get WiFi the higher it would cost you.

But without blaming, it is a fine piece of work that now allows our XBOX to be placed a little bit further from the hotspot.

High-Energy Batteries - Rechargeable Zinc-Air Battery has 3X the energy of a lithium-ion battery

A Swiss company has developed a battery that can store three times the energy of a regular lithium ion battery. They base the storage size by volume, meaning, they can hold three AA 9v batteries equivalent to one size AA 9v battery. The battery is a rechargeable zinc-air battery.

They are planning to release the batteries in small size units first. Starting from hearing aids and cellphones. Hopefully they will be integrating them into electric bikes and self charging alternators so that we will never have to plug and charge our bikes. Imagine going downhill and having it charge your Zinc-Air battery and then reusing it to go back up the same hill. Will be an amazing improvement.

SINTEF is the development of the technology. It is a company in Norway ran by the company's CEO James McDougall. A $25 million euro investment for this technology and hopefully it blows up so that we have a more green produce even if it is stated as an oxymoron.

This will help fuel cell technology advance a little further. And most importantly the electric vehicle industry that is grow and blowing up. I wonder if this is the electric motor era combined with the dot coms'. The outdated lithium-ion and zinc batteries are being improved and over ran by the new age technology of zinc-air batteries

Renewable Energy and the Energy Advancement Cause

Renewable energy has been around for awhile but has not been marketed in my most positive way. Energy advancement has been coming very close and I came upon two articles I read able earlier on today. I spoke a lot about some large projects and big players that may be able to help push us closer to renewable energy that might save us human beings some money.

The first article I came up was China. If you haven't known yet China is coming up in the economic power structure of the world. They are building large wind powered turbines that will benefit so many places in China that may be lacking energy or even none at all. This is a huge advancement in China, but the catch is they manufacture the parts but Texas company designs them. What great teamwork hopefully we will get some improvement in our economy.

The second article I came up was about liquid bacteria batteries. Mad Science project called Arpa-E. It has something to do with sunlight and carbons. A government project that is funded by almost half a billion dollars. Maybe this is our new gasoline?

Amazing new technology... what will be next... Invisible Capes

Handheld Scanner by DocuPen X - Pen Scanner with Bluetooth & OLED screen

As technology rapidly grows and improves a new age pen has been designed. A sleek look and balanced handling like any perfect average pen has finally arrived with extra bonuses. The pen can hold up to 64MB of memory and is operated by a lithium ion battery. Now how well does it operate is a good question. I operates by scanning about 600 dots per inch(600dpi). Scanning receipts or prices or even bar codes are no problem now. New technology here will be most likely be waiting to get improved or even advance further. The DocuPen's X-series scanner starts at $370. The cost is slightly high such a rites class pen, is worth it but might not be in the budget. Some other bonuses is the Bluetooth capability, as well as the OLED screen is has.  Such a tiny unit with so many standard technology we use today.

MaxForce Engine - Magnetic Energy

Prototype of a Magnet Motor that can help save us many different forms of energy.

I believe the energy is coming from the electrons that are spinning around the atoms within the permanent magnets. Each permanent magnet is producing a little magnetic field. The only energy that is needed for operation is the energy to create the permanent magnets to align with the atoms so that their magnetic fields act in unison. With an electric magnet you need energy to move the electrons to produce the magnetic force. A better alternative is with the permanent magnets that keep continual spin of electrons within the atoms to generate the magnetic field.

The magnetic power may not be as efficient as the Tzero model that the Southern California Green House Card Manufacturing company designs. But is it one step closers to energyless powered energy conductors. Hopefully one day we can light our house without having to pay the big boys upstairs any extra for saving our money on lowering our green house gases with green cars.

This magnetic power monitor can be applied in many different applications. Hopefully we get the opportunity to explore further without allowing big players to corrupt the improvement of our environment.

Dell Inspiron Mini Netbook with Intel Atom Processor in Red/Black

A Limited Edition netbook with a 10.1" antiglare widescreen. I have been enjoying the Dell Inspiron Mini Netbook. The new Atom processor is running spectacular. It may be too early to detect or feel any problems, but the speed is up to standard. I was having lower expectations on the speed on such a small portable continent unit. The cost came almost to $500.00 out the door with a 2-yr replacement warranty for parts and labor. There is also a one of a kind signature quantity amount on the face of the laptop. I currently hold 4176 of 6700 laptops of the same model.

Avaliabe at bestbuy.com

I would recommend purchasing the warranty because it protects you from any damages. Invest $80.00 more so that you won't have to worry about dropping it or water damage, which i think is great. The technology is fairly new to average consumer sales and I won't gamble on stability and reliability until further testing from consumer responses.

Isabella Products' Vizit: 2-way Touchscreen Photo Frame

This is one of the first LCD GSM/GPRS module that allows digital photos to be receive via MMS, email, or internet sharing sites. You can share you photos with friends and family via email or through their Vizit-to-Vizit transfer directly from the frame. Very similar to the iPhone app Bump. They are planning to partner up with AT&T. Hopefully this will lead to video phone calls since it has a built in 10.4-inch touchscreen LCD. Since we in such an economic down fall, the average Joe might not be happy with the price of @279.99 plus a monthly charge. Now the frame also has to have a cost. Nothing is obviously free in America and it will be costing you $140.00 for a 10 inch frame at Wal-Mart. I can't (W)ait!

Sony Ericsson MH907 - Motion Activated Headphones

What I am showing you today isn't any ordinary headphones, Sony Ericsson's MH907s are hand free, "minimalistic" headphones that activate by your magical ears. The headphones are not basic standard plugin and play. They have made it percisly for the XPERIA X10. My readers, you might instantly say, "Forget it!". But this headphone may have change the way standard 3.5mm headphone jacks are used now. I have been a fan on better technology that may lead us to a cooler future. This has my (W)ow factor approval.

iPhone 3GS

The is so far the most powerful and faster iPhone on the market. It is currently advertising two times faster than the previous iPhone 3G. My favorite feature that is available with the new iPhone 3GS is the video feature. The whole camcorder/video capture is awesome. The 3-megapixel capability helps take great still photos. The voice command feature is great, and this is also available for the older model, the iPhone 3G. Other features that is also available for both model is the Cut & Paste feature that was very popular, very highly requested feature. My most favorite feature is the Tethering, keeps me connected.

Lenova S10-2 Netbook

The Lenova S10-2 netbook is extremely light and thin. It has a very easy to use near-full sized keyboard. It also has trendy colors available for sale. This is on my (W)ishlist. Some of the specifications for the Lenova S10-2 Netbook that stands out is the Intel® Atom™ N270 processor which pumps out 1.6ghz. The amazing HD graphics card for such a small unit uses a nVIDIA Ion platform. It also has a large screen of 12.1" widescreen which I think is fairly large for a netbook, but more is better. The usage time is not bad with the 6 cell battery. Starting at 2.87 lbs, which isn't all that bad. Priced around $350.00.
